:bulletblack: WARNING :bulletblack:
This comic, along with any future sequels, is set in an alternate universe where Amon is who he said he was in the first place: a scarred revolutionary with powers bestowed upon him by spirits. It's a trippy, creepy variant I would like to keep on exploring. :la:

The desert part! Because every epic villain needs to walk through a desert and nearly die, right? :la:

Remember what I said about symbolism? It just goes on and on!
I actually like the idea that Amon painted the mask himself. But somehow, I wanted the spirits to leave their mark on him. Is it a sign that they own him, or that they are with him?

The spirits were really fun to draw. Thought I'd throw in a sandbender, too. And I'm proud to say that the flames are self-made. :') I was going to look for a tutorial or something, but the Internet died and I was on my own. Peh!

I hope nobody's offended that I haven't kept Noatak's sexy physique for Amon. The idea is to dissociate them completely. And for some reason I see Amon as a zerohead, even though I adore Noatak's glorious sideburns and combed-back hair.

Part 4 should follow sooner than 2 and 3, as it's shorter and just serves to close the deal and answer some last questions.

EDIT: Simplified the text a little.

Even though I've seen the original sketches, this is still so exciting to read! Your writing has excellent rhythm and I can really hear the voice; it has such a rich tone! :D
Your interpretation of Amon is getting my inspiration flowing for that potential Amosami+Amorra fanfic. He's completely different from Noatak, so it was a good decision to further dissociate their physical appearances.
You may prefer to stick with writing, but I'm lovin' the balance of graphics and text! Great job on this.
